CheckMyTraits(“we”, “our”) provides scientifically designed online assessments. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Assessment responses: the answers you choose while taking a test.
• Observer/peer responses: where a feedback link is used, the respondent's name, relationship and ratings.
• Payment records: order references and payment status from our payment provider. We never see or store card numbers, UPI PINs or banking credentials.

How we use it

• To generate your assessment reports and certificates.
• To operate your account (verification codes, sign-in sessions).
• To provide paid features after a successful payment.

What we never do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
• We do not display your results to anyone unless you share your report link.
• We do not use your responses for advertising.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: two secure, HTTP-only session cookies that keep you signed in. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are set.

Data security & retention

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as strong one-way hashes. Data is retained while your account is active; you may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the contact page, and we will complete it within 30 days.
